Learn to paint like Monet, Degas, Rembrandt, and Sargent by understanding how to control the elements of art which are used to capture and convey the mood / message desired.

It is too easy to copy the picture, put in the shapes first or put in the darks values, the medium values and the light values and never ask your self what the painting was about, what is evoking the mood. To question yourself and each brushstroke about adding to your message and the mood desired. It does not matter what style you paint in, there is still a message and the elements of form are involved in carrying this message to the viewer. If you do not understand how to control each of the elements of art then you could not plateau in your art. Our program is about breaking down paintings into exercises which teach you how to use and control all which has already been discovered in art but maybe not taught to you.

This program is not about coping the photograph. It is about learning, at your own pace, taking  small steps together learning and understanding the universal language of art. If you can not read the hieroglyphics how are you going to understand what is said on the canvas, how are you being controlled where to look on the page, how are you going to write your own story? This class is about learning the keys to the hieroglyphics.

The majority of the art work on this web sight are from people who have had very little to absolutely no art experience, but they all share the same thing, desire. I believe anyone can learn this, one step at a time.
